An Oregon Spring Daycation

Star Bunny Studio 2014

Spring is in the air.
The sun is out, the birds are singing, and the flowers are in bloom.
All of this is spreading a major case of Spring Fever.

But, what if you do not have the time to jet off to a tropical paradise for a Spring Break?
One remedy for this is a Spring Daycation.
Pinterest recently asked, if you had 24 hours to play hooky what would you see and do?
This question has me plotting a Daycation of my own.

In the state of Oregon spring marks the start of many outdoor activities.
The rivers are raging with spring snow melt offering opportunities for rafting and kayaking.

If you prefer to stay dry, the spring snow melt has many of the waterfalls in Oregon flowing
a full force. A hike on the numerous trails in the national forests will lead you
to unexpected discoveries.

If you enjoy life at higher elevation, the gem of the cascades Mt.Hood sits at 11,250 feet.
Offering a drive that starts with charming fruit orchards and climbs to breath taking vistas.

Another option is a drive to the Pacific Ocean where adventure and relaxation mix
in perfect harmony. 363 miles of unbroken coastline make up the Oregon coast.
Here, a day at the beach is anything but ordinary!

So, what would you do with 24 hours for a Daycation?
