Star Bunny Studio 2013

Road trips are an American summer tradition.
With so many places to see and unique landscapes to explore it is an experience like no other.

Through a network made up of interstates and highways 48 States of the United States are connected.
The hardest part of beginning a cross - country adventure can be choosing what road ways to drive.
The warm summer weather opens all routes to exploration.

On day one we hit the road aiming for the Great Lakes region.

Many of the roads in the Eastern USA are "Toll Roads".
These are roads that you mast pay a fee to drive on.
These Toll Roads offer limited services at service stations along the way.

through the lush rolling hills of the Eastern country side.

Quickly the hills fade away and waterways become more apparent.
The industrial charm of an old steel bridge is fitting for this area known as the "Rust Belt".
These steel structures serve as a reminder of a time when large scale manufacturing was a way of life.

The waterways around the Great Lakes region offer environments necessary for many animals.
Above is a painted turtle that quickly became my friend.

Here we stopped for the day to recharge for the next full day of driving.
I look forward to sharing the rest of this adventure with you!
